Arif Efendi

Arif Efendi currently works at a single-family office located in London. In this role he is responsible for overseeing private investments in the UK and Europe across sectors including technology, hospitality and leisure, and sports, and he also heads up the firm’s asset management component, which includes a global long-short equities product alongside longer-term private capital solutions and deployments.

Prior to this, Mr Efendi was a consultant for almost two years to ADCO Advisory Company Limited. This specialist advisory firm offers strategic counsel and funding solutions to UK-based companies in relation to commercial litigation and financial services investments.

From 2011 to 2016, Mr Efendi worked at an international commodities trading and investment business in a principal position where his focus was on overseeing a global trading book.

Arif Efendi’s career in banking and financial services began in 2010 at leading Africa-focused emerging markets investment bank Standard Bank, where he worked on the African Equities desk within the Global Markets team, spending nearly a year in this position.

From 2005 to 2009, Mr Efendi studied at Norwich University in Northfield, Vermont, one of the leading military colleges in the US. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in business administration; he also achieved his army JROTC/ROTC high school diploma from the New York Military Academy in 2004. He initially had his sights set on becoming a US Army general but ended up going down the business route instead.

Arif Efendi’s key skills include designing marketing strategies, strategic planning, new business development, financial modelling and contract negotiation. He prides himself on turning his passions into successful business enterprises.
